Thieves have returned a stolen koala once cuddled by Prince Charles but without leaving any clues about their motives for the crime. The four-year-old female named Kao was stolen from the Adelaide suburbs on Tuesday. She had been held by Prince Charles at a Government House reception last November (pictured) during part of the diamond jubilee tour of Australia. Its owner, Rae Campbell, who rescued the animal after it had been hit by a car, said she had been returned without explanation. Kao had a graze on one of her paws but was otherwise unharmed. She remains under vet supervision.
