Photo: Paul Cutter

A high protein, low fat drink that's easy to make.

Ingredients

  • 250g almonds (raw) flaked or whole
  • 1 litre water
  • 2 fresh pitted dates
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method

Place ingredients into a high-speed blender and blend until creamy (about 30 seconds to one minute).

Strain through a muslin or fine sieve and store the milk in the fridge. It will keep for about four days.
