Watch: The trailer deemed 'too scary' by the US ratings board

James Wan, who created the first Saw movie and stepped out for the other six has a new project on his crafty little hands - The Conjuring. Based on true life events and starring Patrick Wilson, (Remember him from Little Children and Girls?) and Vera Farmiga, (from Up in the Air) - two fairly great actors, so you know it's going to be good scary as opposed to schlock scary.

The Huffington Post reports:

The movie, with no gore and very little violence, infamously netted itself an R-rating from the Motion Picture Association of America for being "too scary." Too scary! Based on true events, "The Conjuring" follows the Perron family (Ron Livingston and Lili Taylor play husband and wife) who seek the help of paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren (Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga) after some very bizarre events happen in their newly purchased farmhouse.

The Conjuring is currently in Us cinemas and hits our theatres on Thursday. Enjoy the trailer, won't you? (insert maniacal laugh here).
