Good news everyone! Aussie Rose Byrne has finally been cast as the lead in a rom-com. After displaying her comedy skills in smaller roles in Get Him To The Greek and Bridesmaids, Byrne is being given the chance to take the lead in I Give It A Year.
The film charts the trials and tribulations of a young, mismatched couple during their first year of marriage.
The London-set romantic comedy comes from production house Working Title Films (Notting Hill, Bridget Jones's Diary, Love Actually) and is directed by Bruno writer Dan Mazer.
It co-stars Stephen Merchant, Anna Faris, Minnie Driver and Simon Baker.
I Give It a Year releases nationally on February 21, 2013.
