Okay, full disclosure: Alan Ball did not create this new television series - but he did produce it. And you know what they say: you don't put your money behind it if you don't first believe in it. They do say that, don't they? Banshee, the story of an escaped convict, (Anthony Starr, who bears a striking resemblance to Felicity's Scott Speedman don't you think?) assumes the identity of Sheriff Banshee and sexy violent times ensue.
Banshee looks to be something between Mulholland Drive, (a tribute to old Hollywood film noir - check out the poster, right) and Prison Break, (lots of buff, obscenely attractive criminals walking around prison grounds) will premiere in the US on January 11. Watch the trailer and make up your own mind.
