Watch: Jemima Kirke on sexism in the art world

Jemima Kirke, who plays Jessa in Girls, is an artist before she is an actress, and she's also the coolest person probably ever. In this short film for the Tate gallery's Unlock Art series, Kirke takes us on tour of the history of female artists and the way they have created their art, and been perceived by the world.

Covering everything from the feminist artist group the Guerilla Girls to Margaret Harrison who was booted out of an exhibition for daring to show a nude Hugh Hefner as a playboy bunny (the nerve!) it's a fascinating video for both feminist, history and art buffs alike.

Watch, and join in with Jemima in asking, where are all the women?
