The day after Seth MacFarlane was roundly criticised for the poor job he did as host of the 2013 Oscars, comes news that while he may not understand that sexist, racist jokes and corny song-and-dance routines don't cut it, he at least knows when to quit.

A follower by the name of @CrusePhoto asked him on twitter 'Would you host the Oscars again if asked?'

To which MacFarlane replied 'No way. Lotta fun to have done it, though.'

The most interesting thing about this entire exchange is that @CrusePhoto assumed that after the horror of this year MacFarlane would actually be asked to return!
