The New Yorker, like so many print publishing companies these days, is making a bold leap into the digital world with a new ipad app. And who better to help promote it than a witty, urbane New Yorker like Lena Dunham? Dunham, creator of the very hip TV series Girls, directs and stars in this promotional video. It’s an 1980s style parody of late night talk shows, (featuring none other than Jon Hamm as host) and, if we’re reading this correctly, appears to be a gentle mockery of precocious young stars like Lena herself.
