We don't want to be disrespectful here but would you look at the guns on Anna Wintour? Photo: Getty
It's one of life's most reliable rules: the way you look in your passport photo is up there with the way you look in your licence - and neither are all that fantastic. Well, the editor of US Vogue magazine, Anna Wintour, has found a way around this, by summoning the very famous fashion photographer Mario Testino to take her picture.
Mario spilled the highly luxurious beans in a recent interview with The Guardian, telling them 'Every year I go to photograph [Anna] for the Met Ball – her, her kids.'
He tells a story of being summoned to shoot a passport photo of Wintour and her first child, which seems a tad unnecessary, yet also perfect.
It does seem a tad unnecessary, especially when you consider that, according to federal legislature, nobody is allowed to smile in their passport photos. And given the fact that Anna Wintour enjoys smiling about as much as she enjoys flushing a toilet in her face, one would think she'd have this passport posing business in the bag.
