What do you do when you're not blogging?
I'm studying commerce/law full-time. I teach and practise dance. I love a morning run or swim.

What clothing item is timeless?
A tweed boyfriend blazer. I'm still on the hunt for a perfect one.

What is the No. 1 fashion mistake?
Trying to replicate somebody else's style. Unless you think about and wear what you really love, you won't look confident.

What are the fashion staples you think every woman should own?
A well-made leather bag, a pair of tortoiseshell sunglasses and matt-red lipstick.

What has been the highlight of your blogging career?
Chatting to the beautiful Diane von Furstenberg.

What are your wardrobe favourites for summer?
Equipment shirts I've collected over the past year, my favourite Diesel and Michael Kors watches, Karen Walker sunglasses, a leather baseball cap, boyfriend jeans, and my beautiful Acne "Pistol" boots.

What has been your best fashion buy?
A pair of Alexander Wang heels for $80 from a Barney's warehouse sale.

What are you wearing most right now?
Leather track pants, Zimmermann shirt, Calvin Klein jeans, ASOS sweater, Topshop silk trousers.

Why did you decide to start a blog?
I started Oracle Fox as a form of artistic expression. In the beginning, it was a place for me to store images and illustrations that inspired me.

What is the most rewarding aspect of running a blog?
Definitely the amazing people I meet, being able to connect with my readers, and all the travel opportunities.

Which trends are you enjoying this season?
I love the sportswear trend as well as the minimalism of black and white.

What does your average day entail?
On a typical workday I'm travelling for a project, working on a photo shoot, or fielding emails. I also try to fit in a surf before work.

What comes to mind when you think of Australian fashion?
It's fresh, exciting and forward-thinking. I believe we have some of the best designers who are true to their own aesthetics and create trends that often inspire the rest of the world.

What's your best buy and favourite wardrobe item?
I bought an inexpensive hand-made messenger bag in New York. It's a one-off with welded metal and beads. Knowing a lot of time went into it makes it special. It might sound cheesy, but my wedding dress, an embroidered couture minidress by Sass & Bide, is a favourite. I also have a stunning printed neoprene dress by Balenciaga.

I work full-time as a marketing and sales co-ordinator for jewellery label ManiaMania.

When I get some downtime and need an inspiration hit I'll head to international bloggers Style By Kling, Columbine Smille and Man Repeller. In Australia I also see what the other [blogging network] FELLT girls are up to.

What do you hope to achieve with Harper And Harley?
I want to help women get dressed a little easier, by showing them how to wear items in certain ways. You only really need blacks, whites and greys in your wardrobe - perhaps with a splash of denim, khaki and camel.

Have you had any pinch-yourself moments in your blogging career?
Wearing Chanel to the launch of the Chanel Little Black Jacket exhibition in Sydney last month was an experience I will cherish forever.

A black pair of jeans and a white button-up silk shirt.

A pair of Christian Louboutin spike sandals. It's all about cost per wear!
