You know how everyone, myself included, always bangs on about the Little Black Dress? So versatile! Dress it up dress it down! Elegance! But there is less said about the Little Red Dress, its bolder, saucier and arguably more powerful sister. The LRD is for when you're feeling confident and ready for your close-up. It might even make you feel a bit "sassy". And that should be embraced. The bolder the colour the less 'extras' you need. Take Clemence Poesy's look. The dress is so blood red and attention getting that the simple and elegant capped sleeves and a-line cut work perfectly. The spiky knuckle duster rings (finger cuff?) adds some edge while the sweet mary-jane style heels balance everything out. An easy ponytail works best here.
