Each fashion week, there are a few pieces of clothing that get far greater exposure than anything on the runway.

The style choices of editors, bloggers, stylists and other members of the "fashion-famous" set are snapped by street style chroniclers as eagerly as paparazzi shoot celebrities.

This year, there have been some obvious winners in the "most worn" competition.

An acid yellow, fuzzy Acne jumper has been making the rounds at several shows. Outside Henry Holland, a young man and woman, both wearing the piece posed together for photographs. We also spotted the jumper at Burberry, and around Somerset House, all worn by different people on different days.
Peter Pilotto's 'librarian' length skirts in dazzling blue prints are also ubiquitous. Typically, they are being worn with lady-like stilettos and oversized cocoon coats.

Oversized, sporty letterman jackets have been worn by blogging super star Susie Bubble, and buyer Carol Song, amongst others.

Point-toed Celine shoes in white and silver, alongside Nicholas Kirkwood's outrageously coloured suede styles have been the high heels of choice. However, the fashion set is increasingly turning to flats, with sensible, mannish black shoes by Alexander Wang and Jil Sander abounding.

Overall, the street style hasn't shifted much since last season: mixing sporting elements into high end outfits is still enormously popular, clutches are still the go-to bag, and everyone still loves balancing their jackets over their shoulders like capes (probably because it best suits the weather).

Pops of neon persist, although these have transferred from accessories onto the garments themselves, and everyone is still utterly obsessed with glittery Miu Miu sunglasses.
