My nan was able to control 6 unruly sons with the raise of an eyebrow. So terrifying and effective was that one perfectly arched brow. It is a talent that I have inherited, but alas I have not yet realised its full power. Like my nan, Diane Kruger is the sort of woman who definitely looks like she could reduce you to a trembling wreck with one raised eyebrow. Her expression here is supremely imperious, cool and quite frankly, it scares the hell out of me. Though to be honest, her face is probably more the result of thinking such things as "gosh I'm totally busting for the loo", or "it's really not very fun having to pose for photos while being yelled at my photographers," rather than world domination. Probably. Anyway, Kruger could probably take over the world and it would mostly be down to her rather theatrical cape, complete with armour like detail. We already know that Kruger is a "style icon" and regularly tops the best-dressed lists. This look just proves it. It's brave without being insane, but dramatic enough to have people whispering. The high neckline, short hemline is a good rule to remember, as keeping accessories simple when wearing such a a heavy and memorable look. The world needs more powerful outfits likes this one. I'm suite sure my nan would agree.
