LIFEwithBIRD Autumn/winter, Wild Species Dark Love collection.
LIFEwithBIRD is totally on a roll with the recent opening of its fifth store in Melbourne. The label, which fuses femininity with directional fabrics and a nod to a certain luxe sporty aesthetic, is dropping its latest collection into stores next month. Wild Species Dark Love is rife with the twists and draping and high voltage prints in floral and watercolour flushes that one has come to expect, and anticipate, with the label. Fabrics include the breathable kind such as silk, cotton and linen meshed with the flashier kind such as viscose blends, leather and nylon. Flashes of soft purple and bright, bold prints break up a muted colour palette of greys and blacks, and lean silhouettes are paired with the outsized, the buttoned up and the just plain old pretty.
