The Duchess of Cambridge is due to visit down-under in April and the Daily Mail have all of the (gushing details).

Including this little gem, Kate will be dressed by the Queen's personal stylist, with her mother-in-law, the Queen of England, ordering a full regal Princess Diaries style makeover for the high-street loving, clothes recycler

For the trip to the colonies, the Daily Mail reports, the Duchess "will deploy a couture wardrobe of day dresses with lower hemlines than she has  previously favoured."

Yikes, how's that for a dose of micro-aggression

It's not all grim though, the carefully selected travelling wardrobe will include custom couture items from Alexander McQueen and Alice Temperley and the Duchess has permission to rifle through the Queen's jewel collection and pilfer some of the good ones.

Kate's personal hair stylist - famed for creating the Duchess's post baby do - is also being given a crash course in tiara attachment. As one does.

Here's to hoping the Duchess doesn't forget her thrifty, L. K Bennett platform heel wearing ways.
