Rose Byrne, Sydney premiere of I Give It A Year, January 2013
Of course, Rose Byrne could look pretty in a hessian sack and tends to do so at nigh on every occasion. This look is particularly pretty. Mostly I think because she has played around with shades of the same colour - in this instance a certain va va voom shade of oxblood. It's not always easy to do. Too similar a shade and you look matchy-matchy, too far apart on the spectrum and the effect can be ever so odd. These two shades are just right, and the different textures - leather and silk - complement each other. The teeny tiny purse (I suppose you could fit your glasses in it?) and pointed toe pumps pull together the look.
