Diane Kruger, Benefit Honoring Quentin Tarantino at MOMA, December 2012
Not everybody can pull off a dress that cascades around one's self in frothy, floaty, frivolous layers. Indeed, it probably takes a strong sense of self and your own style to be able to wear it with confidence. Diane Kruger seems solid in her sense of self, and style. This sheer, ice-blue gown manages to be both frivolous and directional. The bias cut of the dress, the sheerness of the fabric and the belted in waist keeps everything from getting too out of hand. Not that that would rattle Kruger's strong sense of self.
