Sequins really are a marvelous creation. Worn on a shimmering mini cocktail frock or great sweeping ball dress you are bound to be the highlight of the party. Shine on you crazy beautiful disco ball. However sequins are not just for party time, and they're not limited to swishy, shimmery, silky fabrics. And indeed sequins can totally be worn in the office (well, within reason/occupation anyway). Look at Olivia Wilde. Sure, she's at a party, but that sequinned jumper and matching pencil skirt is definitely 9-5 appropriate. Perhaps they could be paired separately to reduce the impact. That said, wearing sequins rarely goes unnoticed.
