Hey guys, the scent of change is in the air. And according to Nick Smart, director at Agence de Parfum, it's a little bit sweet and a little bit sporty. "Once footy season wraps, that's your cue to switch to a new cologne," says Smart. He says that while smoky notes such as leather, dark woods and vetiver are ideal for winter, crisper, more fruity scents are a must for the warmer months.
"The latest men's colognes have been busy tapping into their feminine side, using notes such as gardenia, violet and rose, mixed with the traditional lavender and jasmine in a bid to smooth things out," he says.
Smart says the base notes of these colognes make them better suited to wearing on the body or directly on clothes rather than on the face and neck.
